Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using PostService.io ("the Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our services. The Service is operated by PostService HQ, a service of Livotov Labs Ltd., located in Varna, Bulgaria.

2. Service Description

PostService.io acts as a gateway between digital files and physical postal services. We provide:

• Printing: Converting your uploaded PDF or text into physical documents.
• Enveloping: Placing documents into standard envelopes.
• Dispatching: Handing over the envelopes to third-party postal carriers (e.g., Royal Mail, Posti, Turkish Post) via our network of printing partners.

We are not a postal carrier. Our responsibility ends once the letter has been handed over to the postal operator.

3. User Eligibility & Identity Verification

To prevent abuse, anonymity is not permitted on the platform. You agree that:

• You must provide a valid email address and verify your mobile phone number via SMS before sending mail.
• You must provide a valid Return Address (Sender Address). Sending mail without a sender address is prohibited.
• You authorize us to verify your payment method (Credit Card) for fraud prevention purposes.

4. Prohibited Content (Zero Tolerance)

You are solely responsible for the content of your letters. PostService.io strictly prohibits the sending of:

• Threats of violence, harassment, or stalking.
• Illegal contraband, powders, or prohibited substances (in case of package forwarding).
• Fraudulent documents, fake invoices, or phishing scams.
• Hate speech or sexually explicit material.

Violation Policy: We utilize automated text filtering and human review. If we suspect illegal activity, we reserve the right to block the dispatch, suspend your account, and share your identity and transaction data with law enforcement agencies (Europol/Interpol and local authorities).

5. Privacy & Data Retention (GDPR)

We take your privacy seriously. By using the service, you acknowledge:

• Content Deletion: Your PDF files and message bodies are automatically deleted from our printing servers 24 hours after successful dispatch.
• Metadata Retention: We retain transaction logs (Sender Name, Recipient Address, Date) for legal traceability and tax compliance as required by Bulgarian and EU law.
• Third-Party Processors: We utilize trusted local printing partners and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). They are bound by strict Data Processing Agreements (DPA).

6. Delivery & Liability

While we ensure your letter is printed and dispatched on time, we are not liable for:

• Delays caused by the postal carrier (e.g., strikes, weather, lost mail).
• Incorrect addresses provided by the user.
• Letters rejected by the recipient.

The "Eco Saver" option (via Bulgaria) has an estimated delivery time of 5-9 business days. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.

7. Refunds

Before Dispatch: You may cancel a letter if it is still in "Processing" status. A full refund will be issued.
After Dispatch: Once a letter is marked as "Dispatched" (Printed), costs are incurred and no refunds can be provided.
Lost Mail: If a letter is proven lost due to our internal error, we will refund the cost + 20%. We do not refund for errors made by the postal carrier.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Any disputes arising from the use of this service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Varna, Bulgaria.
